Bitsound sells music straight from the artists. No subscription: signed in, you hear every song in full for free, and what you love you buy once and keep the lossless files forever. 90 % of every sale (after VAT) goes to the artist, and we do not track you.
Downloads come as FLAC, ALAC or WAV in exactly the quality the artist uploaded, from CD quality up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, with no DRM. Artists set their own prices and sell straight to their fans.

What is Bitsound?
Bitsound is a music shop where you buy music straight from the artists. 90% of the net price goes to the artist, and there are no trackers, ads or third-party analytics.
Is there a subscription?
No. There is no subscription and no monthly fee. You only pay for the music you buy.
Can I listen before I buy?
Yes. Guests hear a preview of every song. Signed in, you hear songs in full for free, unless the artist offers a release as a preview only.
Which formats do I get?
You choose between FLAC, ALAC, WAV, lossless up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, just as the artist uploaded the recording.
Do I own the music I buy?
Yes. You download the files and keep them for good, without copy protection and without a subscription. The rights to the music stay with the artists, the files are yours for private listening.
How do I pay?
You top up credits and buy with them, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or EPS. 1 € of credit costs 1 €.
How much does the artist get?
90% of the net price, that is the price without VAT. The page "Where your money goes" shows exactly how a purchase is split.
Can I sell my music on Bitsound as an artist?
Yes. Artists upload their music lossless, set their own prices and sell straight to their fans. Bitsound only takes music without collecting societies. The page "For artists" explains how it works.
